There is no doubt that Google will learn a lot from Orkut. Keeping it as a different entity will allow it to collect info without raising suspicions.

if you dont want to lose your privacy, stop using orkut and google.. geesh.. dont make a big deal out of it.. its the price you pay for having FREE services.

it took me a while to get an orkut invite wow they are i think closed to 4million in membership but i could be wrong, it could be higher. so if you want an invite just go here:
