It's totally insulting. 3 days stay equals a month DSL bill. And the logings and pop-up and redirects to hotel homepages with vauge login messaging. Blah.

Even leaving my accesspoint point for any neighbors to enjoy my incurred expense still doesn't make it any better.

In Austin at the Hilton they are adopting some of Doc's suggestions. Use of the pool is $10 for all hotel guests!

Hotel broadband, especially Wi-Fi, should be free just to get folks coming back. As Jamis MacNiven of Buck's Restaurant in Woodside (who has been offering free Wi-Fi for years) said quite a while ago, "Charging for the online usage would be, for me, like charging for salt and pepper."
